Project Description:
The facility consists of 3 NHL-sized pads, and one Olympic pad that accomodates 1,000 spectator seats and can be converted to NHL size if required.
The new arena provides the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Marlies with an ideal location that is both close to Air Canada Centre and Pearson International Airport. It includes professional change rooms and weight training facilities for both teams, as well as offices for the team's staff. The facility includes a full service restaurant that will be open to the public, as well as, the Hockey Hall of Fame Library and Archives. Food and beverage concessions are also part of the overall program.
Tresman Steel supplied and installed 400 tons of structural steel for this project.
